       Complementary Health care "Practitioner" program

"An exciting new intensive Bowen training
program for people who already have a Cert IV,
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in another
complementary health care modality such as
       Massage, Myotherapy, Homeopathy, Naturopath
       etc.,"

Complementary Health Care Practitioner Bowen Therapy program

This fantastic new program is available to most Complementary Healthcare "Practitioners" who have a Certificate IV, Diploma or Advance Diploma qualification in another health care modality.

Because of your current qualifications, most of you will be able to comply with requirements of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer (CT) process, and therefore will probaly only need to complete the four or five, three day intensive SMART BOWEN® Therapy training Seminars to gain a Diploma of Smart Bowen Therapy.

The three day intensives are spaced at about six weeks apart so that you have time to complete the appropriate theory work books and the required number of case studies between the face to face training. Naturally there are a series of assessment processes to be completed before you can gain your next complementary health care modality qualification.

Practitioner Small Animal Bowen Therapy

This program is open to any person holding a qualification in CIV, Diploma, Adv. Dipl, or above, in any health modality, such as Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Bowen Therapy, Massage, Veterinarian, Veterinary Nurse, Massage, Herbal Medicine to name a few. The applicant must have undertaken suitable anatomy and physiology within their prior education.

The program is delivered in three blocks of training intensives, with 'home study'.  The first training intensive is 2 days duration, followed on by a further two - 3 day training intensives.

Working on animals is a specialized field and thus requires the same attention to detail, knowledge, skills and practice that one would expect when learning a modality that is applied to humans.  Even human Bowen Therapists have difficulties transfering their knowledge and the application of Bowen Therapy across to the animal kingdom, so this program has been designed to provide that supportive bridge of skills to faciliate a good working knowledge of the animals body and relative problems that may accompany them.  A good Small Animal Smart Bowen Therapist will be a compliment to western approaches of Veterinary Medicine.

This program has been designed to be delivered as a condensed version of the Certificate IV in Small Animal Smart Bowen Therapy.  At the completion of this program the participant can apply via an RPL process for this qualification of Certificate IV in Small Animal Smart Bowen Therapy.
